Haiku Tea Room

This experience was inspired by the teachings of Kakuzo Okakura's "The Book of Tea" which introduces you to the history of the japanese tea ceremony and the importance of it as a meditative experience.

You would start the journey by walking up a path to the tea room, then you would bow down to get through the door to be presented with a simple room.

In this room would be items that are connected by a theme. Your would spend 30mins or so contemplating the scene before being served tea.

I feel that this is a perfect base to then explore writing haikus
